On Sunday 10th May our team took to Farnham, to support our designated charity.
Challengers is a children’s charity, which has been dedicated to providing exciting leisure opportunities for disabled young people, since 1979. They achieve this through community based projects across Surrey; working with youth centres and families.
Sunday’s fundraiser was a cycle event sponsored by Kelly’s- an organisation which works closely with Challengers. Our role was to marshal the children’s bike ride, which consisted of a 1km round track and some very fearless kids!
Overall we had a fantastic morning, and met some very inspirational volunteers. The event was a great success, and has so far raised over £30,000 for Challengers. This will make a huge difference to the disabled children and young people they support.
