Colin Ellis Managing Partner
In full time practice for over 30 years, Colin has also held full time directorships in commercial organisations including the position of Financial Director at Silverstone Motor Racing Circuits. Specialising in Corporate Finance issues, from fundraising to market listings and companies regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Colin has developed insights and expertise that enrich our professional practice. With an international outlook on the financial world and personal contacts around the globe, Colin fully understands the demands on modern businesses operating in an international market.
Michael W I Whyke Partner
Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and has extensive knowledge of business and finance. He was previously part of a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in the West End for 25 years. Michael started an International Association of Accountants who operate in 26 countries. He was also a founding director of the corporate finance arm of practice, specialising in public and private fundraising in the media industry and has gained the ICAEW Corporate Finance Qualification. Michael's hobbies include golf and watching rugby.
Jeremy Chivers Partner
Jeremy studied engineering at the University of London followed by an MBA. Following graduation, he caught the tax bug and has worked for international and medium sized practices before joining Anstey Bond. Jeremy has considerable professional experience and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts, member of Chartered Association of Taxation and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management. This vast wealth of knowledge enables him to think outside the box for solutions to client problems and he has been involved in anti-avoidance cases that have resulted in a change of legislation. He takes pride in his ability to make what initially seems difficult seem easy and get the best results for his clients, many whom have become personal friends. Outside of work he has a strained relationship with West Ham Football Club and has an interest in the Corporation of London where he is a Freeman of the City of London.
Robert Ellis Partner
Robert joined Anstey Bond in 2015 after spending time working in the financial markets, with this hands-on experience enabling him to provide valuable insight for his portfolio of clients in the UK financial services industry. Today, he leverages this unique perspective to empower a diverse range of owner-managed businesses. He is committed to excellence and innovation. He plays a pivotal role in nurturing talent within our audit and assurance team, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. His deep expertise in financial reporting, including UK GAAP (FRS102) and full IFRSs, enables him to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. Robert is dedicated to building lasting relationships. He takes the time to understand your business, your goals, and your challenges. By fostering open communication and a collaborative approach, he empowers you to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable growth.
Timothy Coles Partner
After graduating Timothy joined Anstey Bond as a Trainee Accountant, where he completed his accountancy training and received his ACCA membership in 2017. Timothy was quickly promoted to Portfolio Manager where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients, providing support and guidance in a variety of financial areas, including audit. In 2023, Timothy was appointed as Partner at Anstey Bond, where he has been continuing to expand his client base, whilst developing our Guildford office.
Sian Buxton Portfolio Manager
Sian is a dedicated and experienced Portfolio Manager with a background in payroll and accounting. Sian joined Anstey Bond in 2017 as a Trainee Accountant, where she completed her ACCA qualification, marking a significant milestone in her career. In 2022, Sian was promoted to the role of Portfolio Manager, where she used her knowledge and experience to manage client services along with developing new trainees at Anstey Bond.
Jennifer Perrin Practice Manager
Jennifer joined Anstey Bond in 2015, after spending 7 years at IBM, developing her business and client management skills. Since joining the firm, Jennifer has used her HR and Payroll knowledge to help create and expand the Payroll department which she has been managing since 2022. In 2024, Jennifer also took on a new role as Practice Manager to assist with the running and development of the Partnership.
Claudia Rowell Associate
Claudia has a Master in Business Administration from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, one of the leading business schools in Europe. She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she completed her business studies and had her first job as a Finance Assistant in the country’s state-owned oil company. She then moved to Spain to obtain her MBA. Since then she has lived in Singapore and London. Her working life has specialised in management accounts and family office. She acts as FD for most of her major clients and her role is vital in ensuring the business is financially sound and with a steady growth. She takes great pride in the relationship she has with her clients, as they consider her as a first point of contact for any queries, regardless of whether they are of finance nature. She is fully committed to ensuring that all clients are completely satisfied with the accounting and consultancy services we provide. She was appointed partner on April 2016 and looks forward to many more years of growth and success with the firm. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.
